The drying equipment of hazardous waste sludge can dry the sludge with moisture content of about 80% to about 10%, which can further realize the reuse of sludge resources. Therefore, the economic efficiency of the drying equipment can be increased. So what are the methods to improve the drying efficiency of hazardous waste sludge drying equipment?
1、 The moisture content of sludge should be ensured before drying. If the moisture content of the sludge is too high before drying, a lot of heat will be consumed and the drying time will be prolonged to ensure the quality of the sludge after drying, which only reduces the sludge drying efficiency and treatment capacity. Therefore, for the sludge with high moisture content, it is necessary to use the dewatering equipment to remove part of the water in the sludge, and then dry it. This can not only reduce the heat consumption, but also improve the drying efficiency of the sludge.
2、 Equipment drying temperature and air volume. The drying efficiency of hazardous waste sludge drying equipment is also directly related to temperature and air volume. When the temperature inside the cylinder is higher and the air volume is more, the sludge drying speed is faster and the efficiency is higher, which greatly reduces the sludge drying time. However, due to the different physicochemical properties of some sludge, if the temperature is too high, the characteristics of sludge will be changed, and the quality of finished products after sludge drying will be affected. Therefore, the temperature and air volume should be adjusted reasonably according to the characteristics of dry sludge.
3、 Drying process of equipment. The process of hazardous waste sludge drying equipment will also affect the sludge drying efficiency. Due to the internal use of crushing device and lifting material system, the drying equipment can quickly disperse, crush and separate the sludge, accelerate the contact between sludge and hot air, improve the utilization rate of heat energy and improve the drying efficiency of sludge, so as to avoid the adhesion problem between sludge or between sludge and cylinder wall, and ensure the quality of sludge after drying.
4、 Sealing of equipment. The drying equipment of hazardous waste sludge adopts three-stage sealing device with negative pressure operation and good sealing, which can not only ensure the full utilization of heat, but also improve the sludge drying efficiency. If the sealing work of a hazardous waste sludge drying equipment is not done well, it will lead to the loss of heat inside the cylinder, resulting in insufficient heat inside the equipment, thus affecting the drying efficiency of the equipment. In addition, the good sealing of the equipment can reduce the smoke and dust overflow inside the cylinder, and ensure the clean and tidy production environment.
