Wastewater sludge drying equipment plays an important role in sewage treatment plant, which solves the sludge treatment problems after sewage treatment. It can not only dry ordinary sludge, but also has good drying effect for high humidity and high viscosity sludge. Now, what are the factors that affect the performance of waste water sludge drying equipment?

1. Drying temperature. Waste water sludge drying equipment in the treatment of sludge, mainly rely on high temperature heat and sludge heat transfer, always achieve sludge drying. With the increase of hot air temperature, the evaporation rate of sludge moisture can be accelerated, the sludge drying efficiency can be improved, and the sludge drying time can be reduced. On the contrary, if the drying temperature is too low, the evaporation rate of sludge water is slow, the drying time of sludge is prolonged, and the drying efficiency is low. Therefore, the drying temperature is one of the reasons that affect the performance of wastewater sludge drying equipment.

2. Wind speed. In the drying process of waste water sludge drying equipment, when the hot air speed inside the cylinder reaches a certain high value, the drying speed of sludge can be accelerated and the energy consumption can be reduced. On the contrary, if the velocity of hot air is low, the drying rate of sludge will decrease and the energy consumption will increase. Therefore, the hot air speed is inversely proportional to the working efficiency and energy consumption of waste water sludge drying equipment, which is also one of the reasons affecting the performance of drying equipment.

3. Feed rate. During the drying of the equipment, the speed of material accumulation in the drum may even be reduced if the equipment runs fast. If the feeding speed is slow and the amount is small, the drying efficiency of the equipment will be reduced. In either case, it will affect the drying efficiency of the equipment. Therefore, the operator should strictly control the feeding speed according to the manufacturer's regulations.

4. Process of equipment. Special breaking device, movable grate and movable plate device are installed inside the drying equipment of waste water sludge. During operation, the sludge can be broken continuously to change the large particles into small ones. The contact between sludge and hot air is accelerated to avoid mutual adhesion, agglomeration and wall adhesion between sludge and improve the utilization of heat energy and drying efficiency.
