There are two main reasons for blocking of sludge dryer at room temperature

1、 Sludge particles are large

Due to the high humidity and viscosity of the sludge itself, if the material contains relatively large particles, it is easy to happen that the material can not pass through the drying chamber smoothly and stick to the cylinder wall and dead corner.

Maintenance method: in fact, it is better to solve this problem. Here are two methods to choose from. 1. A filter is installed at the entrance of the normal temperature sludge dryer. The filter screen in the filter will intercept the larger particles outside and only let the sludge with small particle size pass through. 2. The "rotary harrow crushing" device is set inside the drying chamber, and the wet sludge will be broken after entering the cylinder. At the same time, the whole drying space is filled by the role of plate making, forming a uniform and scattered material curtain and increasing the contact area with hot air.

2、 Overload feed

If the wet viscosity of the material conveyed by the feeding system is too high and the amount is too much, which exceeds the load of the equipment, it is easy to block the material.

Maintenance method: this problem can be solved from two aspects. Firstly, before entering the normal temperature drying machine for sludge drying, the moisture content of sludge can be reduced by mechanical dewatering, and the material handling work can be done in advance to reduce the probability of blockage of the dryer. In addition, during the drying operation, it is necessary to pay attention to the stable and uniform feeding of the feeding system to avoid intermittent excessive or insufficient feeding. If problems are found, timely adjustment should be made to avoid blockage.
